One of the most spectacular tourist attractions in China of this day is the Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses museum in the Shaanxi Provence, Xi’an. In 1974 some laborers who were working on a drinking well in the area literally stumbled upon the warriors. This caused a great stir among historians and archaeologists around the world who were quick to travel to see them.

Although many tend to lean towards the five star accommodations while they are planning there vacations there is an accommodation that is so quaint, it makes for the perfect romantic setting. A stay at a Bed and Breakfast is a unique choice in accommodations and they are often overlooked when searching the web. This is due mostly because they do not appear with other accommodations and also because many never think to look for a Bed and Breakfast during their searches.

The intriguing country of Ireland has been a popular gay vacations since the days when Oscar Wilde called this nation home. Of course, during his time Ireland was not as welcoming and accepting of LGBT folks and many, including Wilde, were jailed or sent off to hard labor camps for what was then termed “indecency.” Sadly, up until 1861, death was considered an acceptable punishment for acts of sodomy, but today Ireland has moved well beyond these dark days and has recently bested the U.S. when it comes to LGBT rights by legalizing same-sex civil unions in 2009, after decriminalizing same-sex behaviors in 1993.

When people go to vacation they expect a fun and hassle-free experience all the time.
